Invincibelle Lace® Smooth Hydrangea (arborescens subsp. radiata)

Invincibelle Lace® Smooth Hydrangea (arborescens subsp. radiata)

There’s truly nothing else like it—Invincibelle Lace® is the first-ever smooth hydrangea to feature warm purple lacecap blooms. Its delicate, lacy florets offer an ethereal charm that captivates both humans and pollinators, providing reliable nectar and pollen all summer long.

Held aloft by strong ruby-hued stems, each bloom remains beautifully upright through wind and weather. These spaced-out stems lend an airy, graceful presence to the landscape, gently swaying while maintaining structure and elegance.

Perfect for meadow-style plantings, pollinator gardens, or as a border centerpiece, Invincibelle Lace® brings a soft yet striking presence wherever it grows.

  • 4-5 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 3-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates and part to full sun in northern climates
  • Space plants 4-5 feet apart for best results
  • Produces lacy warm purple flowers throughout summer
  • Maintains green foliage spring to frost
