San Marzano Heirloom Tomato has a slightly sweet taste when cooked, giving sauces and paste a creamy thickness that is a feature of traditional Italian cooking and is favored by gourmet chefs. It is disease-resistant. Grow in gardens, raised beds, and patios and use fresh in sauces. Can or freeze for later use.

  • 6-8 feet tall at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Grow in the landscape or 14" to 18" diameter container. Be sure to provide support by using a tomato cage or other structure. Consistent watering and regular fertilization will be key to keeping your plant in full production mode. These plants will produce tomatoes for an extended period of time and thrives in heat and humidity.
