Double Delight® Appleblossom Begonia (tuberhybrida)

Double Delight® Appleblossom exudes a sweet citrus-like fragrance from its large, abundant, white and soft pink bicolor blossoms on cascading stems. It performs well in full sun in the Northeast; southern growers will need to provide some afternoon shade. Increased sun tolerance makes this begonia versatile for use in containers, hanging baskets, window boxes and monoculture containers.

• 8-14 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide at maturity
• Annual except in zones 9-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
• Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
• Space plants 12-16 inches apart for best results
• Produces fragrant pink and white flowers from planting to frost
• Maintains dark green foliage spring through frost

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. These begonias prefer moist but not wet, well draining soil. These are not hardy, but the corms can be dug up, stored for the winter and replanted the next spring.
