Invincibelle Mini Mauvette® has deep pink-mauve blooms every year in early summer and continues through frost for an endless supply of flowers - even in colder climates. With its strong stems and tidy, rounded, dwarf habit, Invincibelle Mini Mauvette is a very versatile plant for landscaping or adding to containers. This native of North America is great as a cut flower, fresh or dried.
- 2.5-3 feet tall and wide at maturity
- Hardy in zones 3-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
- Plant in part sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates and part to full sun in northern climates
- Space plants 2.5-3 feet apart for best results
- Produces pink-mauve flowers throughout summer
- Maintains dark green foliage spring to frost
- Blooms on new wood
- Great for borders, containers, edging, landscapes, hedges, cut and dried flowers
- Native to North America, long blooming, deadheading not necessary, dwarf variety
Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Prefers well-drained soil that does not remain soggy for any amount of time. To prune, simply cut back by one-third of its total height every spring, just as new growth begins to emerge on stems. Make cuts just about 1/4 of an inch above a bud. Dead or damaged wood can be removed at any time.
