Paraplu® Red pushes rose of Sharon color into bold new territory, offering the closest-to-true-red blooms we’ve ever seen. Hummingbirds flock to its large flowers, and its graceful upright habit makes it ideal as a specimen or hedge. Durable, drought-tolerant, and deer-resistant—it’s built for real-world landscapes.

  • 6-10 feet tall and 5 feet wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 5-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 5 feet apart for best results
  • Produces dark pinky-red flowers during summer
  • Maintains green foliage spring to fall
